Chasing polar bears. Interviewing George Clooney. Running from tear gas. Handing Dan Rather a lifetime achievement award. Singing Beyonce during commercial breaks on stage. Just another day at the office!

As host and Executive Producer of the wildly popular reality TV hit Big Brother Canada, Arisa chooses to believe George Orwell is on the edge of his seat with a bowl of popcorn and not rolling in his grave. It’s the biggest and most delicious international social experiment on TV, and landed Arisa 3 Canadian Screen Award Best Host nominations and 2 Audience Choice nominations, while the show has netted 7 noms for Best Reality/Competition Show in Canada. She also helmed three seasons of the Big Brother Canada Side Show on Slice, and four seasons of After the Eviction Live online.

It has all come full circle. Long before Big Brother Canada, Arisa's career took a hard left turn when she took a break from Journalism school at Carleton University and reporting for the local CTV news station to star on U8TV:The Lofters - Canada’s first big reality series, where she lived on camera for a full year at the dawn of the modern reality TV age (aka 2001).

Next Arisa spent years covering arts & culture and roving celeb-soaked red carpets around the world, working on both sides of the camera for E!, The National, CBCNN, Cineflix and Entertainment Tonight Canada. Honours include a Harry Jerome Award for Academic Excellence and being named one of Hello! Canada Magazine's 50 most beautiful people.

Recent gigs include hosting the TVO New Years Eve special 'From Ontario With Love,' (for which she and co-host Andrew Phung won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Host / Live Entertainment Special), hosting the Canadian Screen Awards Non-Fiction Gala, Canada's Walk of Fame Gala, a cameo on Private Eyes, the Rockie Awards at the Banff World Media Festival x 2, writing for the The Huffington Post, the highly rated #ArisaAndAra morning radio show on 91.7 The Bounce, hosting the Directors Guild of Canada Awards x 3, Toronto Actra Awards, Socan Awards, Canadian Digi Awards, The Teddy Bear Affair Charity Gala, Spelling Night in Canada, Stylus DJ Awards, presenting a Chris Rock film at the Hot Docs Film Festival, hosting/writing/co-producing an E! film festival TV special from Cannes + Sundance + TIFF, being a featured speaker at the Canadian Psychological Associations annual conference, guesting on hit CBC Radio show Because News, rocking the runway at Toronto Fashion Week, doing fashion commentary for the National Post, consulting at video game giant EA Games and randomly popping up opposite Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers in the Disney movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. At seven months pregnant to boot!

Arisa lives with her builder husband and three awesome kids, easily her proudest achievement. Arisa will be hosting and Exec Producing an incredible 12th season of Big Brother Canada in 2024 on Global Television. Catch past BBCAN Seasons currently streaming on Paramount + in Canada and the US.
